1. The Department of Mathematics of N.S.P.R..Govt. DegreeCollege, Hindupur organize Birthday celebration of Srinivasa Ramanujan as National Mathematics Day on 22nd December every year. In this practice, we create awareness about importance of Mathematics and contribution of great mathematicians to Mathematics  among the      students.
2. The staff of Department of Mathematics deliver lectures on Analytical Skills as Life Skill Course  every year. It helps the students to improve arithmetical ability,  logicalthinking and competitiveness.
3. The Department of Mathematics award proficiency prizes Rs.1000 for the  students who secured 100/100 marks (more than 3 papers) in all the Semester end examinations during the college anniversary celebrations every year, in order to encourage the students towards active learning.
4. Every year Department of Mathematics conducting PG cet coaching to the students those who are interested in PG Mathematics
5. Every year Department of Mathematics conducting Seminars, Quizs, Guest lectures, Bridge Courses, Remidial coaching etc. to the students
