The department of zoology established in the academic year 1987 in this prestigious and historical history with zoology chemistry and botany options of the group BZC TM &EM with a sanctioned strength of 60 students.The department as served its purpose very well thousands of well qualified students of zoological sciences have been trained in its precincts .they serve in various sectors like teaching research industry and service sectors .
There are 2 faculty members with good faculty experience .to enrich their knowledge and teaching the faculty of the department has been participate in seminars symposium workshops we are guiding and assisting students in the preparation of models in the subject to carry all projects successfully and to submit project report so as to develop research skills among students.
The department is employing both the traditional and modern teaching methods supported by modern technology the faculty uses teaching aids like bio –visual charts covering the entire range of curricula,micro slides,museum specimens and models LCD projector to enhance the impact of teaching and learning activity . To enrich the students knowledge zoological tours are made part of the curriculum.
