Mathematics - Profile

INTRODUCTION

     The  Department of Mathematics  Govt. College for Women, Hindupur, was  established  in the year 1987. The department offers B.Sc. with Maths, Physics & Chemistry(TM&EM), B.Sc. with Maths, Physics &Computer Science(EM), B.Sc. with Maths, Statistics  & Computer Science(EM) and also M.Sc. Mathematics 

     The faculty members in the department are striving hard with an endeavour to bring better results. The students are mostly from rural background. Though the financial status is very poor they are much enthusiastic in attending the regular classes and other career oriented programmes like JKC etc.

    The department have adopted the modern teaching methods other than lecturer method.  The department members are using the e-class room for effective teaching.
