The department of chemistry was started since the inception of the college in the year 1987.The Government of A.P. Sanctioned four post of lecturer. Later B.Sc ( BZC botny zoology chemistry ) ( MPC mathematics physics chemistry ) Telugu medium A well experienced lecturers served the department for 17 years. Dr G.Venkatesulu lecturer in Chemistry, NSPR Govt. degree college Dr.B.Polaiah Contract faculty in chemistry for 23 years and Dr. t subbarayudu contract faculty in chemistry with experience.
The Department is offering B.Sc. is English medium since 2008Majority of the students hails from Rural area and Economically Weaker sections of the society.
